At Reba, we pride ourselves on being a leading early childhood program in the Evanston area. But don't take our word for it, see what our families have to say about us.
"My son has been going here for a couple of months in the Green Room and I have seen so much improvement with him! The teachers and staff are some of the most friendliest people I have ever met. They take such great care of the kids and very informative with the parents on what happens over there. My son gives them hugs before he leaves!! 10/10 would recommend!"

"The teachers really care about the students. The curriculum is play based and they taught my son all about letters and numbers!"

"Amazing preschool and nursery for ages 2 to 5. The curriculum is amazing. Our kids have learned to be independent explorers that love nature and their community. They have great teachers with lots of experience with children of all abilities." December 2017, via Google Review
"We were looking for a quality, reasonably-priced, full-time daycare for our 2 year old, which opened daily by 7:00am. We are proud to send our (now) 3 year old to Reba. He receives excellent all-around care and looks forward to attending daily. It is true, the facility is a bit careworn, but we never feel as though our son receives anything less than the best care. The teachers are kind and fair with the children, and forthcoming with parents. As a play-based center, Reba affords kids the freedom to develop their imaginations, make friends, and have fun, rather than subjecting them to a rigid program of instruction where academic--rather than social, emotional, and moral--development takes precedence (as is the case with other more expensive, yet sadly less pedagogically progressive, local preschools and day cares). We also appreciate that Reba is a diverse institution that works to make its services affordable to all families. Moreover, the cost is exceedingly modest." December 2017, via Angies List
"This is a fantastic daycare and preschool! The staff is like family to us!" October 2016, via Facebook
"Our two young sons have both attended Reba Early Learning Center for daycare/preschool. We really have appreciated their play-based emerging literacy approach to teaching the children. The staff are wonderful. They were accommodating with potty training challenges and much less expensive than the other centers we considered in Evanston. While started years ago by the Reba church, the early learning center is non-religious and only celebrates secular holidays plus a few extra ones like Dr. Seuss' birthday. Both boys have had a great experience. They both started at RELC shortly after they turned two, and one is now in kindergarten. The teachers have been great. They accept a diverse group of children which we really like. The emerging literacy approach has been very helpful for the boys to develop at their own pace. The classes have moved from one project/unit to another (e.g seeds, bread, etc.) and allowed the children to learn and explore as much as they are able to handle for each topic. They have been very helpful in working with potty training issues, napping issues, etc. We've been amazed that they frequently have open slots given how good and relatively inexpensive the care is."
